Training and Accommodation
Our academy training takes place in modern high quality facilities, in the north of England, to enable our coaches to fully maximise the performance levels of each individual athlete. All training sessions are delivered by a team of qualified football association coaches and these sessions take place Monday to Friday throughout the duration of the programme. League matches are scheduled to be played twice a week, some of which will be against other club development squads.
The training curriculum which we deliver has been designed for elite performers with the central focus on progressing each player into elite football. Our experienced coaches closely monitor and evaluate the progress of each player and hold weekly one to one meetings to discuss player development progress.
Players who join the academy will have opportunities to showcase their skills and talent in front of other club talent scouts and for those that show exceptional quality and ability there will be opportunities to attend trial sessions at semi-pro/pro clubs. For those players wishing to continue their education there will be opportunities to apply for college scholarships.
Each academy player is allocated a room in a shared house with other academy players which is included in the program registration fee. There is an option to be allocated to a host family but this is not guaranteed as limited spaces are available. We believe that by coming to the UK and living the culture as a professional athlete that all program participants will not only develop as players but will also develop the right skills that will help them to become successful in all aspects of their lives.
Living in England, the home of football, and participating in our residential academy program will enhance the possibility for each player to achieve their goal of becoming a professional player.
